We purchased the building in April 2019. We thought we would just be able to open as a BBQ restaurant since the building had been a BBQ business in the past, boy were we wrong. The Health Department said no way. We had to submit plans to the Health Department redesigning the bathrooms and adding a grease trap. After they approved the plans, then it was time for the City of Mobile. We found out that we had to have engineering plans before we could submit for approval. Hired an engineering firm, had plans drawn up and then submitted to City of Mobile. Next we had to find a general contractor. We put the plans our for bid and decided on BCM Morring Construction Co. Eleven months after purchasing the building we finally began construction.

Finally we have passed all inspections: City of Mobile, Fire Inspector and Health Department. Restaurant is finally opening on July 7, 2020 at 11 am. Can't wait to serve Mobile and our faithful followers.
